I was in a Dallas County Court Justice of the Peace for eviction. I am 20 days BEHIND on my rent. Even though upon entering the courtroom the judge said that it was important for us to write the appeal date of November 25. When I approached the bench, the judge said I did not qualify for an APPEAL, OR A PAUPERS AFFIDAVIT, or a jury trial. I asked WHY. He said the LANDLORD’S immediate possession writ disqualified me. Since it was raining today, a constable would not come out to escort my possessions AND I out, but would on Monday. WELL DESPITE THE JUDGE’S GOOD INTENTIONS, HE ARRIVED AT 5:00 PM THIS SATURDAY. PLEASE ADVISE ME AND TELL ME WHAT I DID SO TERRIBLY WRONG TO WARRANT THIS BEHAVIOR/TREATMENT. IS THERE ANY COMPASSION FOR THE NEEDS OF THE UNEMPLOYED?
